HIRING: FULL TIME OVERHEAD DOOR INSTALLER / FIELD TECHNICIAN

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced field technician to install overhead doors and other specialty doors. We are located in the scenic Columbia River Gorge near Hood River, Oregon, an eco sport mecca for kite-boarding, wind-surfing, paddle-boarding, mountain biking and skiing. This full-time position will be heading installation of overhead doors and other specialty door systems for both residential and commercial. Specialty door systems to include folding doors, mulit-glide sliding doors, lift and slide doors, pivot doors and some Timely frame steel frame doors. We will provide needed training for specialty door systems, but require at least 3 years experience in overhead door installation.

Please list in your resume the types of door systems you have experience with and approximately how many you have installed. Please note if you were lead installer or assistant. Only overhead door installation experience required, but experience with other systems would be a benefit. Any related experience such as aluminum storefront, glazing, commercial hardware, windows, please detail as well. For each type of door system you have experience with, please detail the following: Describe types, makes, details of doors. Number of doors. Lead tech or assistant. Overhead Doors: Folding or Accordian Doors: Sliding Doors: Lift and Slide Doors: Steel Entry Doors: Timely Frame Doors: Hardware: Other: Specialty doors require a careful skillset of detail, accuracy and problem solving. The nature of many of the door systems requires some heavy lifting and ability to maneuver panels. This position is also represents our company on a customer service level and we will be looking for someone who presents themselves professionally. We are considering all candidates, including those willing to relocate from a distant area.

Compensation: Depending on experience and skills. $45,000 – $56,000 / year, plus potential bonus.
